Uniforms

Kohimarama School has a compulsory uniform which can be purchased online or from the school Uniform Shop.

    Pay by direct debit or credit card. Orders will be processed on a Wednesday and Friday. Find out more about how to use the Online Shop or go straight there.

  • Visit the Uniform Shop
    It is open in the Hall every Tuesday and Thursday, 8.10-8.50am, and payments can be made by EFTPOS, credit card, cash and cheque.

The PTA also has a range of Second-hand Uniforms available.

The Uniform Shop is open for a few specific days before school starts at the beginning of the year. For these dates, refer to the Calendar.

Uniform Guidelines

Girls Uniform

  • Red Polo T-shirt with School Crest (Short or Long Sleeved)
  • Navy blue Skort
  • Navy blue polar fleece with School Crest
  • Black ankle socks or navy tights/knee length socks
  • Navy blue (plain) hair ties and/or navy blue (plain) hair band

Boys Uniform

  • Red Polo T-shirt with School Crest (Short or Long Sleeved)
  • Navy blue shorts or navy long cargo pants
  • Navy blue polar fleece with School Crest
  • Black ankle socks

Footwear

  • Black street shoes (plain) (or)
  • Black sandals with a strap around the ankle (plain) (or)
  • Black sports shoes (plain)

Jewellery

The following forms of jewellery and adornments are permitted:

  • Watch
  • Single stud earrings
  • Medic Alert bracelet

PE Uniform

  • Navy blue PE shorts with school initials
  • Coloured House T-shirt; Colenso (yellow), Selwyn (red), Atkin (green), Patteson (blue)
  • Black or white sports shoes or barefeet

Hats

  • Navy bucket hat with school initials (or)
  • Red baseball cap with school initials

Optional

  • Rain Jacket
  • Red Sports t-shirt for sports teams and representing the school
  • Beanie
  • Netball skirts

All students are required to follow the School’s uniform dress code. The Principal has the authority to sanction, in individual cases, variances from the code. These reasons could include, but may not be limited to religious belief and cultural heritage.
