A Message from the Principal

The Kohimarama Way – Friendliness

Friendliness is being a friend.  It is taking an interest in other people.  It is going out of your way to make others feel welcome or to make a stranger feel at home  When you are friendly, you happily share your belongings, time, ideas, and feelings.  You share the good times and the bad times together.  Friendliness is the best cure for loneliness.

School Librarian 2023 – Claudette Ndenzako

We are very pleased to inform our school community that Claudette has been appointed as our school Librarian.  We are looking forward to getting to know Claudette and working with her.  The Library will be closed this week during Big Break times to allow Claudette time to acclimatise and organise.

PTA Chairs Needed – Great Volunteer Opportunity

The Parent Teacher Association (PTA) organisation is run by parents and an integral part of our school. We work with the school to fundraise, organise community events and activities through the year, and provide a link between parents and school management.

The PTA is looking for new Chairs to lead the group this year. We have a well-established calendar of events and an awesome team of PTA supporters who help to make them happen.

This is a good role for two people to share and puts you right at the heart of our Kohimarama School community. If you are interested or have questions, please email Thank you!

2022 School Yearbooks available

There is a limited number of 2022 School Yearbooks available to purchase from the school office. Eftpos only.

Newsletter Day Change

The Newsletter will come to you on a Wednesday afternoon. Please ensure you check the newsletters to keep up to date with what is going on around the school.

Year 6 Road Patrol Training – Wednesday 15th February

Year 6 students who have indicated that they wish to be Road Patrollers in 2023 have a training session with Constable Gordon and Miss Hill on Wednesday 15th February, next week.  It is vital that students are at school on this day, as without completing the training, they will not be considered for this leadership role.
