2022 Kohimarama School End of Year Picnic!
4-7pm, Sunday Nov 20
We are looking forward to seeing you all on the Top Field for our end of year picnic next weekend. We have a range of food trucks, performances and a colour run for you to enjoy!
4.15 – Welcome
4.30 – Kapa Haka
4.45 – Jump Jam
5.30 – Colour Run
The colour run is for children Y8 and below. You can buy your ticket for $5 through Kindo and a wristband will be sent to your classroom next week.
Calendar Art
The stationery with your children’s artwork on it has arrived, it looks amazing and is being distributed today.
The PTA have decided to reopen Kindo for 10 days so those who missed out and those who are super impressed with the products have the opportunity to place an order.
The new closing date for orders is 20 November. Please place your order on Kindo.
PTA Chairpersons
Julie and Lizzie have Chaired the PTA since the start of 2021 and will be stepping down at the end of 2022. We have a well established calendar of events and team of PTA supporters who help to make them happen, and are looking for new chairs to lead the PTA from next year. It is a great role for two people to share and puts you right at the heart of our awesome Kohimarama School community. Gala 2023
In September 2023 Kohimarama School will be holding a Gala and auction for the first time in 5 years! We have a great event planned with a venue, decorations and even a menu but have had to cancel it twice due to COVID restrictions.
We are looking for two awesome leaders as well as a team of supporters to help bring this event together. We need a leader to run the event and one to coordinate the auction items. If you are interested or have any questions please contact us on kohiptachair@gmail.com.

Regular PTA Activities
If you buy ‘Yummy’ branded fruit collect the stickers or bag labels and we can exchange them for new sport equipment. Go to the Yummy Stickers page for more info.
We have a range of items. Prices depend on condition; roughly $25 fleeces, $15 polo t-shirts, $20 skorts and shorts, $15 sports t-shirts. Go to the Second-hand Uniforms page for more info.
Have you thought about joining a school walking bus? A short drive can be an amazing walk! If you’re interested in joining, go to the Walking School Bus page.
For an ice-block or slice of pizza (cheese or ham & pineapple) on Fridays, send along $2. They will be sold 1.15-1.30pm out of the Hall Kitchen window.
Look out for this term’s Scholastic Book Club flyers in the book bags. Please place any orders online (or view the online flyer) at the Scholastic Book Club. No paper orders will be accepted.
Pre-order by the end of the day Tuesday and fresh sushi will be delivered to school for your child’s Wednesday lunch. Go to the Sushi Wednesdays page for instructions.
