Quizathon
This year our Quizathon theme is Matariki! Look out for the questions and sponsorship forms coming home in your children’s school bags next week. The quiz will take place in week 8 on Wednesday 22 June.
Grandparents Day – Baking
Grandparents Day is this Friday and the school puts on a morning tea for them. We are still in need of more baking to serve at this. If you are able to do some baking you can drop it off at the school kitchen between 8.30 and 9 on Friday Morning.

Walking School Bus
We would love to get these buses moving again and are still looking for a new Walking School Bus coordinator!
The coordinator;
- Makes sure there is a leader for each line
- Answers email queries about getting people added to the line
- Coordinates with the school on who gets the ‘kiwi’ for the walking school bus recognition at assembly.

PTA Secretary
We are still looking for someone to step in a take over the role of PTA secretary. You would need to attend meeting on the first Monday of the month and take minutes, as well as send out the agenda. It’s a great way to keep up with what is going on at the school and perfect for someone who likes to be ‘In the Loop’ without taking on other PTA responsibilities. Regular PTA Activities
If you buy ‘Yummy’ branded fruit collect the stickers or bag labels and we can exchange them for new sport equipment. Go to the Yummy Stickers page for more info.
We have a range of items. Prices depend on condition; roughly $25 fleeces, $15 polo t-shirts, $20 skorts and shorts, $15 sports t-shirts. Go to the Second-hand Uniforms page for more info.
Have you thought about joining a school walking bus? A short drive can be an amazing walk! If you’re interested in joining, go to the Walking School Bus page.
For an ice-block or slice of pizza (cheese or ham & pineapple) on Fridays, send along $2. They will be sold 1.15-1.30pm out of the Hall Kitchen window.
Look out for this term’s Scholastic Book Club flyers in the book bags. Please place any orders online (or view the online flyer) at the Scholastic Book Club. No paper orders will be accepted.
Pre-order by the end of the day Tuesday and fresh sushi will be delivered to school for your child’s Wednesday lunch. Go to the Sushi Wednesdays page for instructions.
