Dear Parents and Caregivers
You will have heard the Prime Minister announce that Auckland will be remaining in Alert Level 4 for the next week. A further announcement of our Alert Level is due on 20th September.
The school will continue working in our distance learning environment.
Our teachers thank you and our students for their continued engagement in the online learning programme and for joining in on the Google Meet sessions. We have seen that our students look forward to connecting with their friends and teacher and that their learning is continuing through this format.
This extended lockdown will be testing our resilience, our family relationships and our own personal well being. Remember that you can contact the Kohimarama School Counsellor by email counsellor@kohimarama.school.nz if you have any concerns for your child regarding the lockdown etc. You know your children well and if this support would help then please make use of this opportunity.
Events Cancelled for this week due to Lockdown:
- Bay Suburbs – Boys basketball
- Bay Suburbs – Girls basketball
The calendar will be updated with rescheduled events when Alert Levels allow.
