Hi there, things have been busy as we prepare for the Centennial Day, Gala and Auction. Each event is shaping up to be a great success and we are excited to see them start to come together. The Gala is now sold out and we are focusing on finalizing our auction items. It is not too late to get in touch if you have something to offer.
Another reminder to please register for the Centennial Open Day so that the organisers can plan for catering requirements. Thank you to everyone who is working on these events, it takes a big team!
Blokes Breakfast – 27 August 7:30am – 8:30am

It’s that time of the year again where the kids get to bring along their special big bloke for a light breakfast in the school hall and share some of their favourite things about their Big Bloke.
Breakfast, tea & coffee is included in the ticket price, including a coffee cart provided by Aaron Foss from Barfoot and Thompson. Huge thanks to Aaron Foss, and to VOLT for providing our filter coffee, and T2 for their fine selection of teas on offer.
Purchase tickets on online shop by Wednesday 25th August. $10 – bloke $5 – each child
Kids can choose to complete one of these ‘Get to Know My Bloke’ pages. Please return to your teacher by Wed 25th August so they can be displayed on the day.
Volunteers required please – if you can assist with help on the morning of the event or night before (cooking bacon, food preparation) please email us at kohiptachair@gmail.com
Auction Items!
We’re still on the hunt for Gala Auction items, any products or services you can donate are gratefully received, nothing is too big or small as we can bundle things together. Please think about what you can offer and bring to the school office by this Friday or email us at kohigaladinner@gmail.com
Thank you for your support, our Auction items are going Live on August 27 and we know you will love what we have to offer.
Centennial Day

Countdown is on for our Centennial open day celebrations on Sat 11th Sept. It’s going to be a fun day of entertainment, history and celebration. To assist with planning and catering please register your attendance here.
For one of the activities planned we need a large supply of old crockery. If you have any unwanted, cracked or chipped items of crockery pease drop them into the box in the school office. Thank you!
We are still looking for people to assist in all sorts of roles during the day on September 11 so if you could help out for a few hours please contact Lynda at centennial@kohimarama.school.nz
