Wow what a year! I think we can all agree, 2020 has been a year like no other. We managed to pack a few events and fundraising activity into the last term and got into the Christmas spirit with our Xmas tree and treat fundraisers. And thanks to your immense generosity we raised over $13,000 from our recent quizathon. 2021 is an exciting year for our school as we celebrate our centennial in Sept. We also have lots of fun events and activities planned for early in term 1, (so ensure your diary the dates)!
From us all at the PTA, we wish you and your families a very safe and happy Christmas and enjoy your Kiwi summer holiday wherever you may be!

Fundraising Events
Quiz-A-Thon – $13k raised THANK YOU!
Thanks to your generous sponsorship support, we raised just over $13,000 – an incredible result.
Congratulations to our winning classes:
Room 16 – for being the class to raise the most money – a whooping $1201 raised – WOW!
Room 1 – for being the class to return their sponsorship money the fastest
The kids will enjoy a free fruity kanuity or slice of pizza treat this Friday.
2021 – SAVE THE DATE
Tues 16 Feb – 5-7pm: Meet The Teacher & All School Picnic
A chance to meet you new teachers and we’ll also have dinner sorted with a variety of food trucks and sausage sizzle available.
Fri 26 Mar – 4-7pm: Fun Run – Madills Farm

STILL SEARCHING FOR ANOTHER CO-CHAIR
We have a new co-chair for 2021 but the PTA is looking for another enthusiastic leader to take up the co-chair position – this is a great opportunity to meet some new people and provides a perfect time to reimagine and potentially create a change in the way the PTA operates next year.

Regular Activities
If you buy ‘Yummy’ branded fruit collect the stickers or bag labels and we can exchange them for new sport equipment. Go to the Yummy Stickers page for more info.
We have a range of items. Prices depend on condition; roughly $25 fleeces, $15 polo t-shirts, $20 skorts and shorts, $15 sports t-shirts. Go to the Second-hand Uniforms page for more info.
Have you thought about joining a school walking bus? A short drive can be an amazing walk! If you’re interested in joining, go to the Walking School Bus page.
For an ice-block or slice of pizza (cheese or ham & pineapple) on Fridays, send along $2. They will be sold 1.15-1.30pm out of the Hall Kitchen window.
Look out for this term’s Scholastic Book Club flyers in the book bags. Please place any orders online (or view the online flyer) at the Scholastic Book Club. No paper orders will be accepted.
Pre-order by the end of the day Tuesday and fresh sushi will be delivered to school for your child’s Wednesday lunch. Go to the Sushi Wednesdays page for instructions.
