Welcome back to level 1 where we see the return of unrestricted get togethers and the recommencement of PTA activities, as we all head back to ‘normal’ life. We are aware COVID-19 has changed circumstances for many of us, and those within our local community, so in recognition and respect of this, we have made a few changes to our proposed fundraising calendar – updates and details below.
Sushi Wednesday and Fruity Kunity/Pizza Friday returns this week!
For those new to the school you can pre-order (by the end of the day Tuesday) and fresh sushi will be delivered to school for your child’s Wednesday lunch. Go to the Sushi Wednesdays page for instructions.
Kids can again enjoy a Friday treat – bring along $2 and kids can choose an ice-block OR slice of pizza (cheese or ham & pineapple) on Fridays for $2. They will be sold 1.15-1.30pm out of the Hall Kitchen window.
TRIVIA NIGHT 2020 – CANCELLED THIS YEAR
‘Boss Hogg and his Crazy Dukes’ have the privilege of holding onto the trivia night trophy one more year, with the cancellation of our trivia night which was scheduled for 19th Jun. We look forward to having our trivia night back in 2021.
ENJOY A NIGHT (OR TWO!) AT THE MOVIES – 29 Jun & 01 Jul
In the absence of our trivia night, we understand people are still keen to have a ‘fun night out’, so we are holding two fundraising movie nights – Mon 29th Jun & 01 Jul at Silky Otter, Orakei Bay Village.
Mon 29th Jun, 7-9.30pm – THE GENTLEMAN (2019) – $30 per ticket including popcorn and drink of your choice (wine/beer/non alcoholic)
From writer/director Guy Ritchie comes THE GENTLEMEN, a star-studded sophisticated action comedy. THE GENTLEMEN follows American expat Mickey Pearson (Matthew McConaughey) who built a highly profitable marijuana empire in London. When word gets out that he’s looking to cash out of the business forever it triggers plots, schemes, bribery and blackmail in an attempt to steal his domain out from under him. Starring: Matthew McConaughey, Charley Hunnam, Henry Golding, Michelle Dockery, Jeremy Strong, Eddie Marsan Colin Farrell, Hugh Grant
Wed 01st Jul, 7-9.30pm – KNIVES OUT (2019) – $30 per ticket including popcorn and drink of your choice (wine/beer/non alcoholic)
Book your tickets here. Be quick though only 44 tickets available for each movie night.
SOIREE 2020 – POSTPONED UNTIL 2021
We have postponed our Soiree planned for September this year, and will align this with our 100 year celebrations in 2021.
We will still hold a fundraising evening event in term 3, albeit in a more casual style – details to come.
