Final call for Chocolate money to be returned
Thanks to everybody who has supported our chocolate fundraiser – we have a few outstanding payments to be returned – it would help us greatly if you haven’t already, if you could please return the $72 of sales money collected from each chocolate box, either via the schools online store (simply select the chocolate box item), via internet banking into the Kohi School PTA bank account: 12-3027-0332092-000 referencing Name, Room number and chocolate or by delivering an envelope containing cash/cheque made out to Kohimarama School PTA to the box in the office. Once all funds are received, we can then confirm how much has been raised, funds which will go towards sports equipment and new basketball uniforms.
Prizes will be given out at this weeks assembly – spot prizes for all kids who sold a box of chocolate, the child who has sold the most boxes and the class who sold the most chocolate and promptly returned their sales money will be rewarded.
We do still have some chocolate boxes to sell, so if you are keen to take another box, these are available at the office.
If you have any queries please contact Louise on email@example.com
Blokes Breakfast – Lots of happy smiles!
Over 400 blokes and kids enjoyed an early morning breakfast last Friday. We were so lucky with the weather – the sun shone, bacon butties were a huge hit and superb coffee flowed and judging from all the happy smiles from blokes and kids, our Blokes Breakfast was a great success!
The City Mission was also very grateful for the leftover bacon butties!
Huge thanks to New World and Bakers Delight at Eastridge and VOLT for their support. If you’re wondering where to find VOLT – they roast and sell coffee and machines at their espresso bars in Carlton Gore Road, Newmarket and Hardinge Street, Auckland City.
Pop Up Art Gallery – Wed 18 September – Sausage Sizzle from 4pm
Are you heading along to the pop up art gallery on its ‘late night’ on Wednesday 18th Sep? A sausage sizzle will be available from 4pm along with some soft drinks, water, ice blocks and chocolate bars – all $2 each. Please bring cash.
If you are available to help out with the Sausage Sizzle, please email Lynda firstname.lastname@example.org if you can help.
Yummy Stickers – Return by Friday 20 September
Thanks for everybody who has collected all the ‘Yummy’ branded fruit stickers or bag labels. Please ensure these are returned to the school office by Friday 20th September at the latest. These stickers will be exchanged for new sports equipment.
If anybody is free to count all the Yummy stickers (this can be done at home – just collect them from the office on Friday and advise the number by Tuesday 23rd September) please email Lynda email@example.com if you can help.
