Help us re-mat the Cowley playground!
All funds raised from this year’s Trivia Night will go towards re-matting the Cowley playground to make this a safe play area for our kids. Thanks to the generous community and the hard work of some very dedicated parents, have pulled together a great selection of auction items.
As well as a silent auction on the night we have an online auction that includes a large selection of BUY NOW items, as well as the opportunity to bid on the silent auction items on the night. This auction is open to the entire school community, so even if you don’t go to trivia night you can still support by purchasing an auction item.
Remember – every dollar of auction money that you spend goes directly to Kohimarama School. If we can raise enough money the Cowley playground can get re-matted to make this a safe play area for our kids. Please help us make this happen.
Working Bee – THANK YOU
The weather may have put some people off, but huge thanks to the parents that turned up for our working bee. You all worked extremely hard and did a fantastic job transforming the Cowley garden and surrounding areas. We even managed a coat of paint on the top school walls in-between the rain! Thanks to those parents and kids who helped out – you guys did an awesome job.
Jammies in June – PJ’s collected Tues 04 – Fri 07 June

PTA Funds – your generous support is invaluable
During 2018 the PTA donated $89,115.07 in funds to the school – a third of these funds enabled Kiri to be tiger turfed, new picnic tables for the upper school area and line markings on the tennis courts and surrounding ashfelt areas, a third of these funds supported the purchase of technology upgrades, new laptops, ipads, printers and chrome books and we also funded concept plans to be drawn up for the new school hall, a new sound system, library books, sports equipment and a new phone/inter school communication system.
With your generous support, we should be on track to again donate approximately $90,000 to the school in 2019. Already this year PTA funds have enabled new basketball uniforms to be purchased for all school teams, a range of new balls and three new portable tennis nets to use during lunchtimes. We have also enabled LED tv’s to be installed in the classrooms and purchased new laptops, ipads, printers and chrome books. Funds have also been allocated for the playground Cowley re-matting, library books and technology upgrades.
