Event News

Working Bee – Sunday 19 May – Come and make a difference

Following on from the success of our inaugural working bee last year and as part of our efforts to improve the School’s outdoor environment, we are organising another Working Bee on Sunday 19 May. This year our focus will be on painting, weeding and hedge trimming – the more volunteers we have the more we can do!

To volunteer and for more details on the jobs please click on the below link:

Register for the Working Bee

You don’t need to come for the entire four hours – we have allocated volunteers for morning and afternoon (10am-12noon and 12noon-2pm) but of course you are welcome for the whole day!

Feel free to bring your kids along and there will be a sausage sizzle on the top field. This is a community event so if you have any friends or family who may be able to help we would love to hear from them too.

Any questions, please contact Lynda on

Trivia Night is back – Friday 14 June

Dust off your glad rags, search out your outrageous costumes and start getting your team together… one of our most popular events of the year, Trivia Night is coming!

Keep an eye out for details over the next few weeks but we are looking for volunteers to help on the night and we are looking for auction items – if  you have something (a holiday home, products and services) you would like to donate we’d love to hear from you – email Lynda

Community News

Jammies in June – PJ’s collected Tues 04 – Fri 07 June

This year we will again be supporting Jammies in June which is an initiative run by the Middlemore Foundation to get warm pyjamas to kids in need.

Supporters collect pyjamas which are then distributed through Middlemore Hospital and local GPs to families in need. The aim is to help keep kids warm over winter to break the cycle of winter illnesses.

Volunteers will be in the hall every morning from 8.30 – 9am during the week of 04-07 June.  If you would like to donate a new pair of pyjamas they would be gratefully received.

Any questions please contact Lynda
