Hi everyone, welcome to the first edition for the year of the Kohimarama School PTA newsletter. A big hello to all of our new parents who have joined the school this year.
We have quite a bit of activity planned for this year – our first PTA meeting will be Monday 4th March, 7pm in the School staff room. It would be great to see you there! It’s a good chance to hear first hand from the school leadership team and Board of Trustees on what’s happening at the school and what’s planned for the fundraising and community activities for the year. And if that’s not enough to encourage you to attend, we have wine and nibbles!
Calling Class Co-ordinators!
Are you interested in becoming a class representative or in sharing the role with a friend? It’s a fun, social role which involves:
- Welcoming new students and families to the area.
- Organising a couple of social events for the class during the year (ie, parent drinks, after school play at the park/beach)
- Passing on occasional messages from the PTA to the parents of the class.
Please contact Lynda on firstname.lastname@example.org if you’re interested in helping out.

Weet-Bix Kids TRYathlon – 10 February 2019
