Calling all parents who want to help make a difference
PTA co-chair needed
After almost 2.5 years, Mattie is stepping down as co-chair at the end of the year. She is leaving the PTA in great shape, following one of our most successful fundraising years ever. The budget and planning have already been done for next year, and Lynda will be staying on as chair – so this is a great time to join the team!!!
If you are interested in finding out a bit more about the co-chair role we would love to hear from you. Please email email@example.com
We need a sushi Wednesday co-ordinator for next year. This is a very easy job to do from home and involves organising the volunteer roster and communicating with Rice Runner as required. (Approx 1 hour per month). If you can help please email firstname.lastname@example.org
As we have said before, good teachers are a school’s most valuable asset. Throughout term 3 and 4 we have been providing coffee baskets, treats and the occasional sushi lunch to our teachers as a way of saying thank you for all of the hard work that they do. Feedback from staff is that these are very much appreciated and we would love to continue with this initiative in 2019. If you would be able to help for approx 2 hours per month please email email@example.com
Get Involved and have your say in 2019
Our last PTA meeting for the year was on Monday 5 November. We are looking ahead to fundraising ideas for next year and how to spend some of the money raised this year. If you have some ideas we’d love to hear from you. Email firstname.lastname@example.org. You can also:
- Join the PTA mailing list to be in the loop with PTA meeting agendas, minutes and help requests.
- Like our Kohimarama School PTA Facebook page
