Event News
Thanks for coming to the Working Bee!!
A huge thank-you to everyone who came along to the Working Bee on Sunday. It was great to see so many people and we managed to accomplish all of our gardening jobs, lots of water-blasting and even a bit of painting.
Special thank you to the two amazing grandparents who came up with the gardening plan and organised all of the gardeners on the day – and also to Living Earth who donated a massive 84 bags of garden mix.
This was the first working bee organised by the PTA so we would love some feedback on the event. Email kohiptachair@gmail.com.
Trivia Night – Friday 15th June
Thanks for all of your support of Trivia Night – we have only two tables left to sell! Register for tickets on the Trivia Night page. If you don’t have a team – don’t worry we can put you in a team.
Please remember to pre-order your pizza’s and drinks no later than 8 June.
All funds raised from this year’s Trivia Night will go towards tiger turfing the Kiri play area outside Rooms 1 & 2 in July!
Thanks to Mel Evans from Ray White Maguire Realty for sponsoring this event!
Jammies in June
We are supporting the Jammies in June initiative from Kidz First and the Middlemore Foundation again this year.
If you would like to contribute, we will be collecting new flannelette pyjamas before school, by the hall, on Wed 6 – Fri 8 June. Alternatively you can make a donation and let them know it is for the Kidz First Jammies in June campaign.
Second-hand Uniforms
Need some extra uniforms? We have a huge range of second-hand items for sale. Prices depend on condition; approximately $25 fleeces, $15 polo t-shirts, $20 skorts and shorts and $15 sports t-shirts. This is not only a great way for you to save money but also a great fundraiser for the school.
Go to the Second-hand Uniforms page for more information on buying and donating.
Help Wanted
We are looking for parent help before school on road patrol. This is for 30 minutes (8.25am-8.55am) approximately 4 mornings this term. Please can you let us know if you could help on Tues or Thurs. Contact Justine Boyd on justineboyd123@gmail.com.
We are looking for someone to take over the Walking Bus Co-ordinator role. This would involve approximately 1-2 hrs per month. Email kohiptachair@gmail.com if you can help.
We are looking for someone to take over purchasing ice-blocks and organising the volunteer roster. This would involve approximately 1-2 hrs per month. Email kohiptachair@gmail.com if you can help.
