2018 Working Bee – Come and make a difference
As part of our efforts to improve the School’s outdoor environment we are organising a Working Bee on Sunday 27 May. The aim of the Working Bee is to give the school a bit of a tidy-up as well as to tackle a few specific landscaping projects. Obviously the more volunteers we have the more we can do!!!
The idea is to allocate a job to each volunteer, so if you are keen to be part of the day please get in touch. You don’t need to come for the whole time – even an hour or two would be great. Specifically we are looking for people to help with:
- planning the event and sourcing supplies.
- water blasting
- Painting and general handy-man jobs.
If you can help, or if you have any ideas for things to do on the day please email email@example.com.
You are welcome to bring your kids along and there will be a sausage sizzle on the top field. This is a community event so if you have any friends or family who may be able to help we would love to hear from them too.

If you don’t have a team – don’t worry. Register for the number of people you have and we will put you in a team. It’s an 80’s inspired evening, so drag out the leg warmers and start growing the mullet. Think Madonna, Wham and Miami Vice, Star Trek, Dynasty and The Love Boat. This year funds raised from Trivia Night will go towards revamping the Kiri play area by laying Tiger Turf outside rooms 1 and 2. If we raise enough money this can be done in July so come and support the event!!
