Kiri Family Picnic – This Wednesday
All Year 1 families are invited along to the Kiri Family Picnic this Wednesday! There will be games on the field, a sausage sizzle and ice blocks and water for sale for $2 each or bring along your own picnic. This is a fun, social event all about meeting your child’s friends and other Kiri families. Siblings and extended family welcome. We look forward to seeing you there.

Save the Date – 2018 Working Bee!!!
As part of our efforts to improve the School’s outdoor environment we will be holding a Working Bee on Sunday 27 May. Further details to follow but please save the date!! And if you have any gardening or landscaping experience and are able to help with planning for the day we would love to hear from you.
Entertainment Books (2018/2019)
The new 2018/2019 Entertainment Book is now available for pre-order.

Sushi Wednesdays – Pre-order today!!!
Sushi Wednesday has been a huge success is continuing into Term 2 BUT we need more volunteers to help deliver sushi to classrooms. If you are able to help a few Wednesdays next term, between 10am-11am, we would love to hear from you – email email@example.com.

We are looking for someone to take over purchasing ice-blocks and organising the volunteer roster. This would involve approximately 1-2 hrs per month.
We have some smaller events planned for 2018 as well – including our first urban orienteering event, working bee and Trivia Night. If you are able to help with any of these we would love to hear from you.

For an ice-block on Fridays, send along $2. They are sold in last break out of the Hall Kitchen window.
Look out for this term’s Scholastic Book Club flyers in the book bags. Please place any orders online (or view the online flyer) at the Scholastic Book Club. No paper orders will be accepted.
